SSE Business Lab was one of the first incubators in Sweden to introduce diversity and sustainability criteria in their admissions. Now, they’re raising the bar further by making sustainability coaching mandatory for all companies.

The increasingly tough economic climate is inspiring innovation among this year’s startups, which focus on solving pressing problems. After the last round of admissions for the year, SSE Business Lab is betting on ten new companies.

In a new report from Antler, the 91ºÚÁÏ ranks second among European academic institutions producing highly successful tech founders. SSE ranks first among Nordic schools in the report.

Jenny Ann Ax:son Johnson and Anna Sane, co-founders of Tilly, have won the Grosshandelssocieteten Grant of 100,000 SEK. The Tilly platform serves as a catalyst for improving patient well-being and achieving successful fertility treatment results.

After an intensive admissions period, SSE Business Lab is taking in eleven new companies. The startups are tackling challenges like the green energy transition and people’s deteriorating private finances.

By joining forces with the School’s startup incubator, the intellectual property consultancy plans to help SSE Business Lab companies strengthen their competitive advantages and supercharge their growth.

Nine new startups have been admitted to the 91ºÚÁÏ’ startup incubator, SSE Business Lab. Several of the business ideas seek to bridge social divides and promote social cohesion.

The 91ºÚÁÏ has appointed Andreas Johansson as the new CEO of the School's prestigious startup incubator. He is taking over from Julia Delin, who is leading the School’s fund SSE Ventures. Under Andreas Johansson's leadership, SSE Business Lab will expand its efforts into helping sustainable companies scale up internationally.

Bachelor student Odessa Bäckfors (b. 2000) has been awarded the Anders Wall Scholarship of 200'000SEK. The scholarship is given in collaboration with SSE Business Lab and aims to highlight and encourage SSE students that have excelled in entrepreneurship and creative thinking.

The "Grosshandelssocietet Grant to Especially Dedicated Entrepreneurs" of 100.000 SEK to an entrepreneur at SSE Business Lab is part of the collaboration between Grosshandelssociteten and the 91ºÚÁÏ, where entrepreneurs at SSE Business Lab annually are chosen for the award. The collaboration has now become an official partnership with SSE Business Lab where the goal is to encourage and support entrepreneurship in 91ºÚÁÏ even further.
